Random Stuff: Advil, Chips, Plant & Stickers

So I read that Advil Liquid Gels can help reduce redness & the size of pimples. For me I'm not sure if it helps a lot, I think it reduce the size a little bit but redness is still there so not really that effective so far from what I can see. No idea how you are suppose to open the capsule gels without making a big mess. First I tried using a knife....that didn't work then I used scissors and it did cut through but so messy. Maybe I will give it another try again but I will need to buy more Advil Liquid Gels...not sure if I want to spend money on it or not (the one I used last time was from a friend).

Was craving Chips or more like Tortilla with Salsa & Guacamole. So got some from Extra Foods...yummy...

My co-worker gave me another plant to add to my collection...I don't remember the name of the plant again (bad memory >_<) but it is some kind of flower. I really hope it will grow and I will get to see it bloom.

My order of stickers came from eBay. I wanted alphabet stickers for sticking on my Kobo & Playbook. One of the sellers gave me an extra pack of stickers for free, sticker of clothes...don't have much use for it though. The quality of the stickers aren't that great but you get what you paid for. I paid 0.99 cent each for them...but they add a little something to my Kobo & Playbook (^_^) just hope they stay on.

New Routine

So my friend gave me a routine to follow which hopefully will help to improve my skin more.

AM routine:
-drink one glass of water
-wash face with Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser
-moisturize with Glaxal Base

PM routine:
-take off make-up
-wash face with Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser
-moisturize with Glaxal Base

Also change my pillow case 2 times during the week & lay-off sweets, peanuts, candies, chocolate, slurpee, junk food, chips, fried food, spicy food, grilled food etc...my friend said do for 1 week but probably do it longer.

Recent Purchase - Revlon Lip Butter, Screen Guard & Got2B

Finally got the most raved and talked about Revlon Lip Butter. I got it on sale for $8.96 CAD at Shoppers Drug Mart. I still find it expensive but it's the cheapest price right now. So far I like it but only problem is the color "sweet tart" is a lot brighter then I thought it would be on my lips. I purchased 2 screen protector or screen guards for my Kobo e-reader. I paid about $7.89 CAD for 2 of them on eBay. 1 is for myself & the other one is for my friend. I also purchased Got2B Instant infusion Collagen Root-Boosting Spray after reading about it on BubzBeauty. I got it on sale at London Drugs for $4.47 CAD. I think it is working but I am not sure since I have just started blow drying my hair after washing it...before I just let it air dry...so I don't know if my hair has more volume because of that or because of the spray. Will need to do some testing.

The brushes are pretty good especially for only $3 USD each. For the Studio Matte Lipstick I was disappointed since only the Rich Red shows up on my lips (>_<) the other colors either don't show up or don't look good on me. The lipstick is matte so it is very drying so you will need to put something moisturizing underneath or something on top. The Studio Lip Balm SPF 15 has only a tint of color, it is more moisturizing then the lipstick but I still needed to add vaseline or another balm to keep my lips from being dry. But my BFF has no problem with this and she finds it moisturizing, so I guess it depends on your lips. Will I repurchase again probably not because not enough variety of colors that suit me & not moistruizing enough for me but for $3 USD it was worth a try.

I am loving the Lioele All In One Gel Eyeliners so far, very easy to apply unlike liquid which you have to wait for it to dry or it will smug. I still need to practice applying it ^_^ It comes with a brush so I don't need to buy one. I still need to test out the wearability of it. My problem with both pencil & liquid is that it doesn't stay on my eyes, I have very oily eyelids. So hopefully this will stay on my eyes and my search for a good eyeliner will be over. I am also loving the Koji Dolly Wink Volume Mascara. I have the lengthening mascara but the volume ones seems to pop out more to me even though my BFF sees no difference. The only drawback is that the volume mascara takes a lot more effort to take off unlike the lengthening one. But I still like them both.

Makeup & Energy Candy

So I attempted to do my makeup following this tutorial by Jenn from clothesencounters it looks ok up close but I didn't like it all together on my face, so in the end I wiped it all off. Was told I need to practice more. Maybe makeup isn't for me I always feel wired in it. The only makeup I put on now is concealer and mascara. Or maybe I just need to get use to it and take baby-steps. It did take me a while to get use to wearing mascara.

I have BIG pores on my nose (>_<) so I was attracted to the words "Helps minimize the look of large pores" I used the product today and it feels refreshing on the skin but definitely need to use it more to see if it works or not.

I have super dry hands, the only thing that seems to work for me is Vaseline the jelly type. Which is way to greasy and takes time to absorb into your skin. This hand cream feels wired when you put it on...like wax. My hands do not look dry with it on but it doesn't feel that way or maybe it's the waxy feeling that I am not use to. I will have to use it some more to see if I like it or not. Either way I will continue to use since it wasn't cheap.

NYX, Underworld & Pho Boi

After finding out from a friend that there is an actually NYX store in Surrey, I have been wanting to go. Finally went yesterday, this was my first time at Central City mall since I usually never go to Surrey. The mall isn't too bad, nice interior but wired that Simon Fraser University is connect to it. So the NYX store carries everything that they have online at the same price except they have a sale section which had some AWESOME deals.

Went to watch Underworld 4 in 3D. This was my first time watching a Underworld movie and I liked it but don't think it is worth paying to watch in 3D because really there wasn't much 3D in it, so I felt ripped off because of that. But I would recommend watching for the movie itself. Now I am interested in watching all the other movies in this series. We pigged out when watching the movie. Didn't get to finish all the popcorn still have 1/2 bag left but the candy is all gone now (>_<)

Went to Pho Boi for some Vietnamese food. I have been to this restaurant before but it was under a different name. I ordered something similar to what I order at Pho 99 (My Go To Restaurant) but it wasn't the same. They gave me more noodles then meat, which I prefer the opposite. So I still prefer Pho 99 over this place. Forgot to take a picture of my own food (how did this happen) but I got a picture of my friends soup.

Recent Purchase - Playbook case & skin care products

Yesterday I received 2 of my orders one from ebay my pretty purple Playbook case and some skin care products from Colormix Cosmetics which is like Sasa...they sell beauty products. Comparing the two: Colormix doesn't have as much products as Sasa does but Colormix has really good prices and no restriction on the products that they do carry. At Colormix I purchased all Naruko skincare products. The Naruko brand seems to work well for me it doesn't irritate my skin, I did switch to a different brand last time and now my skin is breaking out so I decided to switch back. Naruko is a Tawianese brand if you want to find out more about this brand visit there US website http://www.naruko.us/ it is in english and they have detailed description of each product they carry (or at least what is being carried in the US right now, there Taiwanese site has a lot more products but all in Chinese).

Recent Purchase - Dolly Wink

I recently purchased some cosmetics online at http://sasa.com/. Sasa is a Hong Kong based company that sells a variety of beauty products. I mostly go there to order Asian products since they are hard to find and overly priced in Canada. Even though it is getting harder to purchase at Sasa since a lot of the products they sell are being only exclusively sold in Hong Kong...which sucks. I really hope they don't continue like this...I WANT MY ASIAN BEAUTY PRODUCTS!!!

So here is what I purchased for myself I got 2 Dolly Wink Long Mascara in black. I finally found a mascara that doesn't give me panda eyes. The rest of the products are for my friend as her Christmas gift. 2 Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner, since she loved them so much when I gave her the one I purchased last time and didn't work on me (>_<) gave me panda eyes. I also got her one of the Dolly Wink false eyelashes to try out. I hope she likes them.
