Gem Crush

Tried out the nail polish that Mama Gen got me for my bday. They are both really pretty but I prefer the Be-jeweled over Lady Luck since Lady Luck looses it sparkle no matter how much top coat I put on it, well the Be-jeweled I don’t need to put a top coat on & it still sparkles. I found this same problem with the Cha-Ching! as well. I don’t think darker colors work that well, the lighter colors are better (^_^)

My first order at Well.ca which is an online site that sells a variety of products. Free shipping within Canada…which I LOVE & they do have sales a lot. I ordered Sally Hansen Gem Crush Showgirl Chic , 2 Milani 3D Holographic Nail Lacquer in Cyberspace & Hi-Tech & Sally Hansen Push-n-Trim Cuticle Trimmer. I got everything on sale except for the Milani 3D since this is the only place that I can find that sells this line but looks like the Milani 3D isn’t sold at well.ca anymore which is disappointing (>_<) don’t know where else I can get it now. Loving everything I purchase, the Push-n-Trim Cuticle Trimmer is awesome first discovered this product from Mama Gen when she did my nails. I need to purchase another one for my BFF when it goes on sale.  I also purchased my first Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Cha-Ching! at London Drugs which had it on sale for around $5 but they didn’t have a lot of selection. The only thing I don't like about Well.ca is that they ship there ordered out in big boxes, I had 2 different orders 1 order had 1 nail polish the other had 2 nail polishes & the trimmer but they used the same size box for both, which both of them were way to small for that big of a box. So I think it is such a waste. They should have smaller boxes or other packaging for smaller orders. Other then that I like Well.ca & I would shop there again (^_^)

Random: Nails

Mama Gen did my nails over the weekend, very nice. Red with different colored dots. Still have it on & LOVEing it. My nails are finally growing, the supplements & healthy eating is working (^_^) It feels wired having longer nails, never had my nails go passed my fingers before...I like it this way (^_^)

Love the color of this nail polish that I got from Hawaii from a brand called Island Girl Hawaii I got it from the ABC store. The color is Waikiki Color. It is a nice color but the nail polish itself isn't good, it drys really quick but doesn't stay on, so I wouldn't recommend it. I hope to find the same color in a different brand.

Recent Purchase & My Addiction

Had a craving for Reeses peanut better cups so I purchased some Reese Mini ‘s. Also think I am getting a little bit sick again so got some NeoCitran just in case.

Thinking about my childhood and one type of food popped into my head Fried Dace with salted black beans. I found it at T&T but expensive now, it cost under $1 before but now it is over $3. I purchased one, still taste the same as before (^_^) good good. It taste good with rice but I ate some of it just as is…was too lazy to make rice.

I purchased NYX NP 32 South Sea nail polish on sale for $1.99 at Price Smart Foods. The color is very opaque so you will need a few coats. I have not used it on its own yet, I have used it on top of another color to add some shine to it and it looks nice.

After going to The Golden Boot the first time I have been wanting to go back, so last Friday I went back with my BFF. My BFF ordered the Pizza Imola - mozzarella, chicken, brie & onion which I had for lunch the next day, it was ok but I prefer the one I ordered last time. I ordered the Lasagna alla Bolognese which was good but I should have just eaten half of it instead of the whole thing because it was way too much eating the whole thing. And we couldn’t leave without having the Tiramisu..yummy. I LOVE this place (^_^)

Random Stuff: Junk Food, Buns & Nail Polish

My cousin went to the U.S. last monday and brought back some goodies....spicy cheetos. They don't sell spicy Cheeto here in Canada which I find wired since most of the people I know LOVE them. My cousin gave me a bag (^_^) back to my candy craving phase...sooo bad (>_<) but I didn't over do it this time, I only bought 2 bulk bags. I'm always hungry at work so I snack on dried fruit...bought 3 big bags of dried cranberries and 2 different types of raisins.

My aunt bought some pineapple buns from Saint Germain Bakery at Metrotown since my uncle raved about how good they tasted. She gave me 1 to try out, I was disappointed wasn't good at all. I prefer Sun Fresh bakery in Chinatown a lot better. The top part that is suppose to look like pineapple was very thin, barely anything there and the rest of the bun just didn't taste right. So the only thing for now that I would recommend at Saint Germain Bakery are there Puff Egg Tarts.

I am in LOVE with Holographic nail polish but sadly I only own one (>_<) Milani 3D Holographic High Tech. I haven't seen any around so far, even the Milani one I can't find anymore since it is not part of there regular collection. I got mines at Sears for around $6.00.

Birthday Gift - Nail Polish

One of my friends birthday is coming up so I got her nail polish as her gift. These are the ones I got her:

Also at Secret Nails I got a bottle of nail polish thinner for myself since the nail polish I have (most of them) are going bad. I got it for under $4 for 4oz bottle, seems to be working well.

Chinatown & Secret Nail

Even though I am sick I still had to go out. Need to get some stuff done before I leave next week. Went to Chinatown to get my future sister-in-law some dried fruits that I let her try when she was here and I got her addicted to (^_^) also got some cough syrup since I was there. And also since I was in Chinatown I went to my favorite bakery Sun Fresh to get some custard pineapple buns & a roll...yummmy...yummy

Then went to one of my favorite places to buy nail polish Secret Beauty Supplies.  They sell O.P.I, China Glaze & more at wholesale prices for super cheap. O.P.I usually $5.99 and China Glaze $3.99. All you need to do is buy a membership for $10 which is good for 1 year. They also sell other beauty salon products. Didn't purchase any nail polish this time (soo tempted though) I went there to get my hair color but found out later when I had to go back to get another box of color that you need to have a hairstylist license to purchase them but the lady let me go this time (even though she is the one who rung me in the first time with my first purchase of hair colors). So I got 3 boxes of Auburn Red Light Chestnut hair dye (since my hair is long & thick, my BFF is going to help me dye it next week before I leave), a bottle of China Glaze strong adhesion base coat & a mini crimper that was on sale for $19.99. The crimper is a lot harder to use then I though it would be...probably because it is so small. I need to practice some more to get volume. Overall a productive day (^_^)
