Gibsons

One more week until my BF & I go for our long weekend to Gibsons Sunshine Coast in beautiful BC ^_^ our first trip away together...excited...^_^

unable to post anymore...or at least post with pictures since I reached my limit >_< so no blogging for me, unless I pay >_< Well a lot of stuff has changed in my life these last few months. I have a loving, caring boyfriend now ^_^ Most of my spare time is spend with him & my thoughts are always thinking about him...I guess this is LOVE ^_^

Ki Hon Sushi

Went out for dinner yesterday with some of the girls for sushi at Ki Hon Sushi in Coquitlam. The food was good, I order Lunch Special Box B which came with miso soup, ebi sunomono, 1/2 California roll, 1 ebi, assorted tempura, beef teriyaki & a salad. It was a lot of food & for a  very good price 10.95 (+tax & tip)...I was SUPER full. The service on the other hand wasn't that great, nobody came to refill our tea. The interior is ok, the restaurant is small. We got the biggest table which was just enough space for 4 people, if our party was bigger we wouldn't be able to seat together. The restaurant closes at 8:30 which is really early (>_<) but it is in Coquitlam so it is to be expected. I would go back again.

I had a good time spending time with my friends, I don't get to see them a lot...so it is good to meet up & catch up. Hopefully I will get to see them more often from now on (^_^)

Epilator

So my BFF gave me a Braun Silk Epil Xpressive Epilator. I have wanted to get one for a long time but was not willing to fork out the money for it. So the first time I used it...it hurt (>_<) but after using it more there is less or no pain. I use it for my underarm, which is really hard to do since you have to pull your skin so the epilator can get to the hair but it isn't always easy to do, so I still have some stray hairs (>_<) my BFF said it will take some time for me to see some results, she has been using one for a long time now & she said her hair is growing back thinner & not very noticeable. This Braun epilator also came with a shaving head, brush & some other tools (which I don't know what they are). I try to use it every time after a shower. So far I do like using the epilator over the razor (^_^)

Dried Flowers

The flowers that I recieved on my birthday, I dried them (^_^) but only the yellow roses from work turned out...eveything else I had to throw away.

PlantCase

So to avoid another of my plants from being damaged again (>_<) I was lucky enough to have found a bookcase that someone moving out was throwing away & used that to place my plants on. I LIKE it...my PlantCase (^_^)

Umbrella & Eyeliner

I finally used my Metro Gift card, I got essential stuff I need (sort of). I got a compact umbrella from Shoppers Drug Mart & Makeup Forever Aqua eyeliner from Sephora. I hope this umbrella will last me, I have no luck with umbrellas & it is essiental when you live in BC. The price tag for the umbrella is $25 (+tax)

I am looking for a good eyeliner that will stay on my eyes. The Makeup Forever Aqua eyeliner didn't last on my eyes the first time I tried it but then I rubbed it off by accidents (totally forgot I had it on). Will need to try it out a few more times before I decided if it works for me or not. The eyeliner is 28 (+tax)

Phototrip

Last week I took a Abstracts, Shapes, Colour and creative photographing phototrip class. It was an interesting class I usually don't take pictures like this. It was a good way for me to get out of my comfort zone. But disappointed since 1/2 way through the class my battery died on me & my back up battery died too (>_<) so I had to leave the class.

I wasn't super happy with the pictures I took after seeing what other people in my class took. So that motivated me to register for a beginners class starting in July...starting from the beginning (^_^) My classes are during the week so I will have to head there after work, so that is going to be a bit hard since I am usually super tired after work. But hopefully it will be worth it and I can improve my photographing skills (^_^)

Jacob & Garage

When I first tried this dress on I fell in LOVE with it. I had to have it...lucky that I still have friends who work at Jacob so I got it for 1/2 off under $50 (^_^) now I need an occasion to wear it

Went into Garage with Mama Gen to look at the $5 tees in the end I ended up with a pair of sweat pants & a dress both $15 (+tax) each. The tees didn't look good on me but looked good on Mama Gen. The sweat pants are super comfortable & the dress is great for summer (^_^)

Quo Foundation Brush & Skin Care

Bought a Quo foundation brush on sale for $14.78 at Shoppers Drug Mart. They are having a 40% off sale on all there Quo brushes. I was using my Body Shop blush brush to put on my BB cream before that. The Quo brush is ok but doesn’t feel as soft & nice as my Body Shop brush but it does the job. Probably would get a Body Shop brush if it goes on sale. I have stopped wearing BB cream for awhile now but after watching Hollyannaeree video where she recommended using the Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream (which I own) to help with ache scarring I have gone back to it. Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream which is a Korean Brand does have decent coverage & does blend in will with my skin tone but I have to let it set in first because it goes on really light on my skin when I first put it on so I have to let it oxidize first (I think that is the word). My skin is slowly getting better which makes me happy.

Before I was into using BB cream a lot and have bought so many brands which are now just collecting dust because I don’t want to put anything on my face to make it worst. The other BB Creams that I owe are Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Cream VIP Gold Collection, Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Cream Diamond Collection & Missha M Watery BB Cream.  The Skin79 VIP Gold has good coverage for me & goes better with my skin then the Diamond one. The Missha one has very light coverage & is very watery.  

Being doing a DIY mask for my skin that I saw on Bubzbeauty. It is just Rice Powder, Honey & Green Tea. It is suppose to help with ache scares. I have been doing it almost every day not sure if I am seeing any result yet but it isn’t breaking out my face. So I will continue to use the mask for now.

Funny video & song. The song is just sooo catchy (^_^) Love Kevjumba & Nigahiga videos & Chester See has a nice voice. There are 3 different video versions of this song on each of there YouTube accounts. This one is Ryan's (Nigahiga) version.  I missed seeing them live in March  (>_<) I hope they come back again.

Broken Pot (>_<)

On saturday when I went out to my balcony this is what I saw....

someone or something broke one of my flower pots (>_<) on the postive side it was one of the plants that was dieing. Need to think of a way to prevent this from happening again.

Le Petit Saigon

Went for dinner yesterday at Le Petit Saigon with a group of friends in Vancouver. Wasn’t really that hungry when I went so I just had a small pho. The food was only ok nothing special. The service was quick, interior was ok. Price was cheap. Don’t think I would go back here myself since the Pho at Pho 99 taste a lot better.

Gem Crush

Tried out the nail polish that Mama Gen got me for my bday. They are both really pretty but I prefer the Be-jeweled over Lady Luck since Lady Luck looses it sparkle no matter how much top coat I put on it, well the Be-jeweled I don’t need to put a top coat on & it still sparkles. I found this same problem with the Cha-Ching! as well. I don’t think darker colors work that well, the lighter colors are better (^_^)

Well.ca

My first order at Well.ca which is an online site that sells a variety of products. Free shipping within Canada…which I LOVE & they do have sales a lot. I ordered Sally Hansen Gem Crush Showgirl Chic , 2 Milani 3D Holographic Nail Lacquer in Cyberspace & Hi-Tech & Sally Hansen Push-n-Trim Cuticle Trimmer. I got everything on sale except for the Milani 3D since this is the only place that I can find that sells this line but looks like the Milani 3D isn’t sold at well.ca anymore which is disappointing (>_<) don’t know where else I can get it now. Loving everything I purchase, the Push-n-Trim Cuticle Trimmer is awesome first discovered this product from Mama Gen when she did my nails. I need to purchase another one for my BFF when it goes on sale.  I also purchased my first Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Cha-Ching! at London Drugs which had it on sale for around $5 but they didn’t have a lot of selection. The only thing I don't like about Well.ca is that they ship there ordered out in big boxes, I had 2 different orders 1 order had 1 nail polish the other had 2 nail polishes & the trimmer but they used the same size box for both, which both of them were way to small for that big of a box. So I think it is such a waste. They should have smaller boxes or other packaging for smaller orders. Other then that I like Well.ca & I would shop there again (^_^)

Jugo Juice & Cardero's

In the middle of our walk to see the Terracotta Warriors we stopped once to get a drink at Jugo Juice. My first time ordering a drink there. My BFF ordered the Carrot Apple drink (I didn't like it that much) & I ordered the Watermelon Wiggle which had watermelon, mango & tropical nectar. The Drink was ok not something I would crave though.

After seeing the last Terracotta Warrior we went for dinner at Cardero’s Restaurant which was close by. My BFF & I both had the salmon burger it was really good, melt in your mouth & fresh. The service was good, our waiter was nice he gave us our bill & told us no pressure to leave just sit as long as we want even though we told him that there is probably people waiting for a table, he said it’s ok they can wait ^_^ never had a waiter tell us that before. The Ambiance was nice, we got a table outside in the patio which we had view of the mountains & it was by the water. Price is high but that is what you expect to pay for a gourmet burger downtown. I would go back here again if I am in the area, not too often since it is pricier.

Terracotta Warriors Part 1

Over the long weekend my BFF & I went downtown to check out all the Terracotta Warriors located around town. In 3 hours we visited 14 of the 32 Terracotta Warriors. We are leaving the rest for another time, too many to visit all at once since they are scattered in other parts of Vancouver, Richmond & 1 in Burnaby. Only had one bad experience on our trip at the Shaw tower where a security guard came up to us & said we weren’t allowed to take pictures. Which I think is really stupid; if they display it they should allow people to take pictures of it. If they don’t want people to take pictures inside then they should place it outside. But I got a picture before the guy came over which is good but we were still upset that it wasn’t allowed (>_<) Other then that it was a nice sunny, warm day & it was fun spending time with my BFF...we haven't done this in a long time (^_^)

Mama Gen Bday Gift

Mama Gen gave me my belated birthday gift (^_^) she was waiting for everything to arrive before giving it all to me. I got 2 Sally Hansen Gem Crush nail polishes #5 bejeweled & #7 Lady Luck, Canmake mascara & Canmake eye base. Also one final gift which was in the back of the car...mama Gen made work to get it, had to walk all the way to the back (:P)...she got me a friends picture frame with pictures of some of the good times we spend together so far with some added embellishments (^_^) LOVE everything. Thank you Mama Gen (^_^)

SFU Cherry Blossom...Sort Of

Last Sunday (finally sorted pictures >_< to post) it was nice sunny day so I went up to SFU hoping maybe the cherry blossoms were still out, some flowers were on the tree but the tree itself didn’t look in good condition so I don’t think any more blossoms will be in bloom. I walked around SFU, it is a nice place in the summer
