Makeup & Energy Candy
So I attempted to do my makeup following this tutorial by Jenn from clothesencounters it looks ok up close but I didn't like it all together on my face, so in the end I wiped it all off. Was told I need to practice more. Maybe makeup isn't for me I always feel wired in it. The only makeup I put on now is concealer and mascara. Or maybe I just need to get use to it and take baby-steps. It did take me a while to get use to wearing mascara.
My friend gave me two packs of "organic energy chews" which you are suppose to eat before you do any activity. They taste pretty good, so I actually finished both packs without doing any kind of activity (>_<)oh...well...she said I could eat them (^_^)

Lunar Festival
On Friday I went to the Lunar Festival event downtown. I did not intentionally go there to attend the event I was downtown and needed to kill some time before dinner and it looked interesting so I went in...it was also free too...it is the Asian in me, we LOVE free stuff (^_^) There wasn't much to see, they had some nice lanterns but they didn't display it nicely, too much empty space in the room. And I won a dragon hat that flashes...actually I was suppose to get a pen but the guy changed it to hat which was ok with me since that is what I wanted.
Skullcandy
So my headphones broke on me yesterday only 1 side was playing. One of the things I can't live without is music especially when traveling around via public transit, I need music in my ear to block having to hear peoples conversations. I have always bought the Apple headphones but finally decided I need to go with something else because they don't last, I have had mines for less then a year (>_<) My good friend recommended Skullcandy Titan earbuds to me. After wasting my time going yesterday to Best Buy to find out they were closed already and then going back today to find out they don't have it at that location and having to go to another location I got them and I am LOVEing them. The sound quality is AWESOME. I highly recommend for the sound quality now I will have to see about the lasting quality. For $54.99 + tax I hope they last for awhile.

Bridal Dress Shopping & Ki Sushi
Today I went with my friend (the bride) and a few of her other friends bridal dress shopping or more like trying on dresses to see what suits her best. We went to New Westminster to check out 2 of the stores there. There are also a lot of other bridal shops on the same street. At both shops we found a dress that we & the bride loved. So now it is up to the bride to decide which one is the ONE. Don't have any pictures of the dresses since no pictures allowed until you purchase the dress...booo :(
In between shops we stopped for lunch. We went to Ki Sushi which was close by. I have been to this place once in 2010 but they renovated since then. The food was ok nothing special. The service was quick for our food arriving and them coming to serve us, which was good since we only had 1/2 hr to eat before our next appointment. I love the new interior, they have some tatami rooms which is where we sat (loved it). The price was pretty good for the amount of food you get. I would maybe go back again if I am in the area but I still prefer Okoman over this place as my go to Japanese restaurant.
Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Price: 5/5

Birthday & Dine Out
Yesterday was my BFF's birthday we made reservations at DIVA at the Met for Dine out Vancouer 2012 which is an annual restaurant festival where a variety of restaurant offer a 3 course menu for $18, $28 & $38. So it is a good way to try out different restaurants for a good price. This was my 1st year attending. Maybe do it again next year but have to book early to get reservations at the good restaurants.
So here is my review on DIVA at the Met, the food was only ok nothing special. Small portions with fancy decorated dishes. The Ambiance was nice, interior was classy and they had an open kitchen. The service was good, they are very attentive and very polite. The price ($38 + tax & tip) was good for a 3 course meal, we were all full but I don't think I would pay full price for any of it. My final verdict is that I don't think I will return to try there regular menu.

Beautiful BC - Lindeman Lake & Greendrop Lake
Lindeman Lake & Greendrop Lake is located near Chilliwack, you will need a car to get there. The lake is breathtaking with its bluish-green water...soo beautiful...and a lot of climbing on rocks..fun fun (^_^)

Recent Purchase - Soap & Glory
Today at Shoppers Drug Mart I purchased 2 Soap & Glory products
-Scrub Your Nose In It $18
I have BIG pores on my nose (>_<) so I was attracted to the words "Helps minimize the look of large pores" I used the product today and it feels refreshing on the skin but definitely need to use it more to see if it works or not.
-Great Shake $10
I have super dry hands, the only thing that seems to work for me is Vaseline the jelly type. Which is way to greasy and takes time to absorb into your skin. This hand cream feels wired when you put it on...like wax. My hands do not look dry with it on but it doesn't feel that way or maybe it's the waxy feeling that I am not use to. I will have to use it some more to see if I like it or not. Either way I will continue to use since it wasn't cheap.
