Beautiful BC - Grouse Mountain

Grouse Mountain located in North Vancouver it is easily accessible by public transit. You can either pay to go on the skyride or hike up. One of the hiking trails up is called the Grouse Grind which is a killer stair master up the mountain. I have done it 3 times & never again (>_<) I HATE stairs....I usually go on the other trail to go up, it's still hard but not that many stairs. It usually takes me about hour & 1/2 to get up there. There are a lot of things you can do up in Grouse Mountain, go visit the bears, zipling, paragliding, hiking, skiing, snowboarding & so much more. I have done zipling once back in 2008, they have expanded it since then & I would love to go back and do it again...maybe this year (^_^)

Recent Purchase - Revlon Just Bitten & Maybelline Baby Lips

Another 2 lipsticks that I don't really need (>_<) I think I have been buying too much stuff lately that I don't really need (>_<) really bad...I need to stop. Hopefully my last recent purchase post of non-essential stuff. But this time i really couldn't help myself both of them were on sale.

Revlon Just Bitten in Frenzy & Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry
So I got the Revlon Just Bitten lip stain on sale at London Drugs for $6.71. Almost all there Revlon lip products were on sale for that price...even the Revlon Lip Butter which I paid over $8 for (>_<) I wanted to buy more but I resisted... The lip stain is ok, this is my first time trying a lip stain. It does stay on the lips for a long time but not all day. Would I repurchase again probably not, it didn't really wow me. I got the Maybelline Baby Lips for $4.45 at Wal-mart. All I can say about the Baby Lips is it is like a colored lip balm but barely any color at all, so nothing really special about it.

Lavender Plant & Dried Mango

One of my co-workers gave me 3 lavender & another type of plant (she forgot the name of it). I have never taken care of any plants before so hopefully they well grow. She said I have to water once every day & I need to talk to them...which sounds wired but I heard it really works. I will need to buy some nicer pots for them soon.

Also another co-worker just came back from the Philippines & she gave me some dried mangoes ...so sweet of her. I LOVE dried mangoes (^_^)

Beautiful BC - Seawall

The seawall is a path that lines the Vancouver waterfront. A good place for a walk, a run or biking. It is easily accessible by public transit because it is located in downtown Vancouver. You see a bit of everything from tall skyscrapers to boats to forest area to sandy beaches. A beautiful place to spend your time. I have still yet to go biking on the seawall maybe this year it will finally happen. I really want to try one of the tandem bikes.

Go Gung Korean BBQ

Yesterday my friends took me for a late lunch at Go Gung Korean BBQ in Coquitlam. The food was ok, I liked the beef dishes..yummy. The service was only ok, didn't come back to refill our tea even though we were the only customers. I love the interior they had really cute Korean decorations all around the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and with a lot of natural light which is nice. The price I found to be a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. Overall it was an ok place but not someplace I would go often...it is kind of out of the way and hidden. And it doesn't seem to be a very popular place since the whole time we were there we were the only customers.

     Food: 4/5             Service: 4/5            Ambiance: 5/5             Price: 3/5

from left to right top to bottom: Side Dishes, Boneless Beef Ribs,
Seafood Pancake, Tofu Soup, Beef Bulgogi
After lunch we went over to my friends place to watch a movie, 11 11 not a good movie...the ending sucks..maybe it is just me I like happy endings. During the movie we pigged out on chocolate (^_^)

Beautiful BC - Rocky Point

Rocky Point located in Port Moody, you can get there by public transit. A good place for kayaking and paddle boarding...which I haven't tried since I am scared because I don't know how to swim but kayaking is fun.
