Sweet Revenge and Locus

On Saturday my BFF & I had one of those spontaneous days. She was craving dessert so we Googled desserts and we found "Sweet Revenge" read the reviews and they were mostly good. When we got to the place it wasn't open until 7 pm, we were 2 hours early (>_<) It was cold & raining so we went into Blenz to kill time. I wasn't really happy about waiting but my BFF is a lot more optimist then me (I need to learn) she invented some wired games for us to help pass time

When 7 finally came it was soo worth the wait. The dessert was yummy, not overly rich or sweet. It was just right, they're all home-made. We shared a chocolate pudding cake & a white chocolate cheese cake. And earl grey tea, which I added cream & sugar to for the first time, didn't like it that much. The interior is so nice, old English looking. It is a very small place with only a few tables. It was good that we came during opening time because when we left there was a line up. My pictures didn't turn out that great since lightening there is very dim. But I had a good experience at this place and would LOVE to go back again...next time the chocolate mousse...saw somebody order it....looked soo good

After dessert we went for dinner...totally doing this the wrong way but oh well. We went to try a restaurant that was across the street called Locus because it looked interesting. The interior was nice but the food wasn't that great. My BFF & I shared a steak

All in all it was a very interesting day. I like spontaneous days (^_^)

Diaso And Mambo Cafe

Yesterday I went to Diaso at Aberdeen Mall in Richmond. Diaso is a $2.00 store where almost everything is $2.00. Daiso is originally from Japan where it is a 100 yen store but unlike Diaso everything is 100 yen in Japan (I went to one when I stopped over in Japan for 1 night) Here is what I purchased at Diaso: a lunch bag, cosmetic bag (because I lost mines and everything in it somewhere >_<), cotton pads and some cards (which I forgot to take pictures of...oops). I also purchased a wallet but it wasn't from Diaso it was from Winners. A nice black Kenneth Cole Reaction wallet for a little over $19. I needed a wallet that could fit all my stuff in and this one was just perfect, not too big & not too small

Aberdeen Mall is a typical Asian mall in BC...a dead mall. People usually go to this mall for Diaso or the food court which is good and usually very busy. One of my favorite places is Mambo Cafe where I ordered my regular Fried Rice Noodles with Beef and lemon drink...yummy yummy...the rice noodles aren't as good as the one my mom makes but the best I can get since she isn't here to make it for me. The portion is big, I usually don't finish it all so I take it home with me to eat later

Recent Purchase - Boots & Camera Accessories

I first saw these Aldo boots on there website and when I tried them on in the store I fell in LOVE but the Aldo store I was at only had a size 9 which was too big for me. I finally found my size at the downtown location and last pair as well, so meant to be (^_^) They were on sale with an additional 30% but price was still high $90.99 + tax but I loved them so I splurged and got them. Can't wait to wear them but I have to wait until the weather isn't so wet.

My camera has gotten bigger and gained some weight (^_^) I received my ordered from eBay a battery pack for my DSLR. I always carry an extra battery with me but now I have more extra battery power and it also helps to improve stability. The package also includes another battery pack for using AA batteries (which I probably wouldn't use) and also a shoot remote switch which is awesome because it also helps to improve stability. There is less vibration when you are pressing the button on the remote then on the camera itself. Happy with my purchases (^_^)

Farewell Gift

I received a cute farewell gift from one of my co-workers. So unexpected, she is sooo sweet.

My last day (^_^)

I am happy that today has finally come, my last day in retail YIPPEE!!! I have been in retail for way tooo long now. I always stayed because I am way to scared to take the first step and enter into the real world but I finally did it and will be starting my new career building job on monday (^_^) There is nobody at the store who I will miss, all my close friends that I have made through retail have all moved on to different and better places. I am super nervous about starting my new job but this is good for me I need some good change to build more confidence and build a better life for myself (^_^)

2011

I am glad 2011 is over a lot of stressful times throughout this year. Which resulted in me breaking out a lot (>_<) or at least part of it. One major stress was me having to make the decision to move back to Winnipeg if I didn't find a job by the end of 2011 which lucky I did (will be starting next week) but was really stressed out during that time because it was getting harder for me to live on my own, with rent, food and other expenses I couldn't afford to hang out with my friends as much as I would like since money was always a problem (>_<) and my spending habits are bad but it sucks that I can't treat myself to something nice once in awhile. I know that in 2012 my money problems wouldn't go away but earning a little more will help out. What do I hope for in 2012 I hope that I will be able to find love this year and get over the guy who I have been hanging on to for way too long now. I hope that I will be able to live a better life without so many money problems. I hope to spend more time with the people I care about. I hope to be happy (^_^) which is what I wish for everybody to be HAPPY!!! Happy 2012!!!

Flight Home

My flight home from Winnipeg was nice...a nice view that is. I was really tired though (7 am flight) went in and out of sleep but I still got some good shots from up above
